You can fish for numerous game fish, but one of the most popular is the King Salmon, which is found predominantly in the Sitka region. The Kenai River is another location that offers an abundance of fish including King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Vardon, Silver Salmon, and Red Salmon among others. There are also various types of sports fishing that you can choose from including power boat fishing, fly fishing, and drift boat fishing.

These locations include the Kenai Fjords National Park and the Montague and Middleton Islands. Some charters also offer Alaska fishing expeditions at sea where you can catch some stunning and unusual salt water fish like the Monster Yelloweye.
