    With the eruptions from the Redoubt Volcano subsiding, the Cook Inlet’s oil production is set to restart in the coming week. Oil Company, Chevron is hoping that the Trading Bay and Granite Point oil fields will be opened and they are already restarting the on shore oil loading terminal. This oil facility was producing about 7500 barrels of oil per day, but this figure is expected to drop as the oil production resumes slowly over the week, due to the slight deterioration in the old reservoirs over the 4 month closure. This Alaskan oil field was closed on the 22 March this year when Redoubt, a 10, 197 foot volcano started erupting.
