    Jobs in the cruise industry are picking up as construction began on the new Cairns cruise terminal which is being built in number 3 wharf shed. The Premier, Andrew Fraser had the honor of turning the first sod on the site, and with the $ 11 million contract being awarded to Hutchinson Builder, operating out of Cairns for the last 13 years, the build is expected to be a good one. The best part about the building of the new cruise terminal is that 84 jobs are being awarded in the construction side of things as the build progresses.
