    Of almost 80 UK towns, Ludlow has been placed 10th in a mystery shopping test that has taken place that has assessed more than 50 retailers in each town. The mystery shopping test, Location Model, was done by the ESA market research company who are doing a survey to see which towns rank the best in terms of an overall great shopping experience. Professional mystery shoppers who visited the town during December rated 42 out of the 50 stores in the area above 80 percent. The overall results showed that 93 percent of mystery shoppers would return to the stores and that 91 percent would recommend these stores to a friend.
