Oil Prices Have Risen 22 Percent This Year

According to the recent US stock market results, there has been a dramatic boost in the economic standings for many sectors including retail, gold, real estate, and oil. Since the 9th March 2009, various stocks have risen from 1 percent to over 50 percent, leading strategists to believe that the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression of 1929 is slowly coming to an end. The snowball effect that one industry’s markets have will cause the rest to follow suit. The construction and real estate industry saw a 3.2 percent increase, which allowed the crude oil to follow with a 5 month high increase. The estimated price per barrel for oil in June will have risen from $1.27 since November 2008 to $54.47 per barrel.

This substantial increase in the price of oil will have an extremely positive effect on the oil and gas industry as a whole and protect, secure, and create more jobs in oil in the near future. The oil companies are gaining dramatically at this point and will require more drillers, engineers, site managers, and other gas and oil positions to be filled as they take advantage of this optimistic time.

At this time last year, the oil price closed at $119 per barrel, leading up to its all time high of $147 per barrel in July 2008. The energy price is also rising again and is now up 18 percent; although still lower than this time last year. Energy economists do, however, remain positive that the oil market has reached it low, and can only increase further from this point on. The key to the oil recovery and demand is the consumer confidence which is placed in the industry. This is looking good considering the positive economic indicators.  If you want to get in on the action and start making lots of money working in the oil industry, you can find plenty of jobs and learn more on the Oil Job Finder website.
