Alaska – Horizon passengers on the other hand are able to connect to Delta’s International hubs including Amsterdam, Atlanta, New York’s JFK airport, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, and Tokyo-Narita, and there will also be nonstop flights daily to Honolulu.

In total 32 nonstop destinations are offered in the deal for passengers of either airline totaling 70 daily departures. This is an increase of 40 percent and will allow passengers to fly with any of the two airlines without having to recheck baggage and offers a simpler and more effective travelling experience.

The benefits are far reaching with frequent flier miles also included in the agreement. This means that members of the Board Room service offered by Alaska Airlines are provided the same access to Delta’s Sky Club.

With this agreement it is not only the passengers who will gain advantage, but also the airline employees. You will find that more airline jobs are available to accommodate the new agreement and to provide top quality service for the new code sharing, as it is called.
