Three large corporations have recently been in discussions with the Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation and Wichita Falls City Council to assist in bringing 386 new jobs to the city. These will be high paying jobs in various different industries.
The first company is a bedding and mattress manufacturer, the second is a metal fabrication company for the petroleum, industry, and the third is an electrical control company. These three companies are set to provide ample employment offering high salaries and will boost the economy of Wichita Falls dramatically.
The incentive program has allowed for Natura World, the all natural bedding manufacturer to receive $2 million for the upgrading of the Delphi building where they are going to be based, as well as $5.5 million for a 20 year interest free loan, and about $2.4 million for the jobs which will only be paid 12 months after the jobs have already been created.
The second company, Tryer Process Equipment, will receive $112 thousand for job creation which has allowed them to create 16 jobs with room for 16 more. The third incentive package is for the yet unnamed electrical company which will receive a total of $600 thousand which will create 70 jobs and will only be paid 6 months after these positions have been filled.
Whilst none of the companies have officially stated that they will be taking these incentive packages or basing their new company offices in Wichita Falls, the discussions were promising.
