RIM, or Research in Motion LTDs, has decided that it will double its workforce over the next 2 years. They are planning to hire programmers, analysts, quality assurance workers, and project managers among other things to ensure that the company, which is famous for developing the Blackberry, remains the most competitive company. The offer from the provincial government is an $800 000 rebate which will be about $16 000 for 50 workers.

RIM purchased Chalk Media last year and has since developed various applications for the Blackberry to make it unique.
