Alaska Airlines Reports Improvement in Passenger Numbers

During March, Alaska Airlines, a subsidiary of the Alaska Air Group, reported that its load factor increased to 84.5 percent from 81.6 percent the year before. The airline also reported that the number of revenue passenger miles increased from 1.56 billion in March 2009 to 1.65 billion, which means it has risen by 5.8 percent.
