BP Migas Offering 20 Oil and Gas Properties in Indonesia

With more and more experts predicting a drop in oil and gas industry prices, BP Migas is actually offering tenders in June 2009 for 20 places in certain blocks in Eastern Indonesia. This means hundreds more jobs that will be available very soon for potential gas industry and oil industry workers. These 20 properties that BP Migas is tendering for are all deepwater drilling acres of the coast of Indonesia that have incredible potential.

In the 2008 tenders there were 31 blocks that were been offered. The due date for direct bidders of this phase of bidding, which is Phase 2 has been pushed to the 20th February to allow more time to study the income tax implications. There are a total of 15 blocks that are offered for direct tender, and there are 16 blocks that are up for bidding via regular tender the due date being the 20th March 2009.
