The awards are judged by over 32 thousand readers who are all avid travelers.

Aside from this, there was also the Golf Digest Awards which saw the Pebble Beach Resorts receive the accolade of the “Best Golf Resort in North America.” CEO of Pebble Beach Company, Bill Perocchi, stated that this was a great time for Pebble Beach Resorts. There awards have come just as they are preparing for the June 2010 US Open Golf Championships. He also added that the success of Pebble Beach Resorts was largely due to its employees.

“They are the ones who really make this happen,” he said.

With the numerous job opportunities at Pebble Beach Resorts, you can easily become part of the winning team and enjoy working in top conditions whilst enjoying all the comforts and luxury of a top class resort.

The much anticipated Oasis of the Seas from the Royal Caribbean International’s fleet will make its maiden voyage in December 2009. This cruise ship is larger, longer, heavier, bigger, and more costly than any other. In fact the journey just to reach the stern is a quarter of a mile. With the advanced infrastructure and state of the art facilities, the Oasis of the Seas is one of the best places to get a cruise ship job.

There are 18 decks in total where the crew of 2165 will work in a variety of positions from deckhand, to steward, massage therapist, chef and more. The great thing about this cruise ship is that it is not a carbon copy of other cruise liners. There are brand new attractions that have never been seen before on a cruise ship. This means that the variety of jobs on offer is astounding.

Oasis of the Seas Launches

Just some of the attractions include an open air park with hanging gardens and actual trees, a merry go round at the boardwalk area, and a full theatre which is showing the Broadway musical version of Hairspray. There is also a casino, so if you are experienced in working at a casino, this could be the perfect way to travel at the same time.

The layout of the Oasis is also revolutionary with a top quality interior that almost feels as if you are walking into a massive sports stadium than a ship. Instead of having all the cabins in the center as is usually done on other cruise liners, the cabins are located on either side of the vessel with a glass covered atrium left in the middle. This is called the Royal Promenade as is longer than a football field and filled with shops, restaurants and the very first sea based cupcake store. It has the feeling of a shopping mall, and this would be a great place to work if you are interested in cruise ship jobs in retail and the hospitality industry.

Moving up a few decks you will find Central Park which is like a plaza that you find in between apartment buildings. The arrival of the ship in Fort Lauderdale will see over 2000 plants installed in this area on the deck. Guests can sit under the Caribbean sky amongst peaceful trees and bushes while they enjoy a steak and sip on a cocktail. These are just two of the seven “neighborhoods” that make up the Oasis of the Seas. Another is located towards the stern, called the Boardwalk and is made with faux wood tiles that lead to the high diving pool. There are amphitheater arranged seats around the pool so that guests can enjoy watching synchronized swimming displays and acrobatic diving.

There is also a Sports Zone, which is a common sight on many cruise liners. This is located on top of the cabins and contains two rock climbing walls, four swimming pools, a basketball court, a mini golf course, a zip line, jogging track, and two water rides that simulate surfing. There are plenty of sports instructor jobs and fitness jobs you can get in this massive area.

For family fun there is also a massive children’s play area, an entertainment area with the theater, spa, and large gym, as well as an ice rink, the casino, and comedy stage along with a few nightclubs. These all offer brilliant job opportunities for those that are sick of the usual grindstone and want to enjoy some adventure. The great thing about this massive cruise ship is that people are encouraged to stay on board and enjoy the facilities. This was done to give people more to do on board and get rid of the mentality that only the elderly can enjoy cruises.

With all the shops, eateries, entertainment and sports on board the Oasis of the Seas, it is easy to see why finding the perfect cruise liner job is simple. If you are experienced in just about any career, whether it is as a professional cosmetologist, an actor, a life guard, a chef, baker, comedian, casino dealer, security, and many others, you should check out Cruise Job Finder to see how you can get a cruise ship job on board the biggest cruise liner in the world. Aside from the actual job application, you can learn about what is required from you as a cruise crew member, as well as any qualifications or extra training you might need. Once you have decided to join this website you will get regular updates about cruise ship employment that matches your ideal job type, so that you will always have job opportunities available in your chosen profession. The Oasis of the Seas provides the best possible choice of travelling jobs, so you should not hesitate to take advantage if you are in search of sun, surf, and adventure!

Travelling might be one of the things on your list when you graduate, or even throughout your life. The problem is that when we have work every day of the week from 9 to 5, travelling does tend to get left on the side lines. This means that only when we retire do we start planning our travels. Now, this might suit some people, but for those that want to see the world before they have to see it through bifocals, you should think about embarking on a working vacation.

Travelling while you earn a living is definitely a grand way to live, but not many people do it. They might decide that working on a cruise ship or for a beach resort is not a real job. A lot of people think that you need to study and settle down somewhere to be a success. But why not work in all different locations for numerous companies throughout your life.

You can easily find perfect jobs that are suited to your skills and qualifications that take you across vast ocean and to exotic locations. You could find yourself teaching aerobics on a state of the art cruise liner headed for the Caribbean, or you could work in the finest beach restaurant in Europe.

Whatever beach resort job or cruise ship job you want to apply for you will find that there is high demand. The cruise industry for example, is the best market to work in at the moment, as sales are continuing to rise despite the economic downfall. New terminals and cruise ships are being built all the time which means that jobs are always available.

So, why is a working vacation beneficial?

Well, there are a number of reasons that you should work while you travel. If you are just one of those people who can’t stay in one place or one job for very long, working in different locations in various job capacities will curb your curiosity and boredom while allowing you to make money.

You can also earn quite a lot of money on a cruise liner or at a beach resort which is another great reason to apply for a hospitality job in one of these tourism industries. If you love to travel and learn about new cultures and new destinations then why not make money at the same time.

It will save you the trouble of working in a boring job you might hate, just to save up enough money to take a trip. This way you can have the best of both worlds. You will also get coverage for medical and disability insurance depending on the company that hires you.

The great thing about getting a travelling job is that you will also get to meet lots of interesting people from all over the world. You can learn a lot about other cultures and get to work in an exciting environment. Who knows? You may even get to learn a new language!

When you decide that you want to work on a cruise ship, private yacht, as a tour guide, or at a beach resort, you should bear in mind that you can do this as a part time gig while you study or just after you leave school to get some great life experience. You can also choose to make a working vacation your full time career. If you want to find out more about getting a great travel job you should become a member of Cruise Job Finder and check out the job board.

In November 2009, South Africa’s only cruise liner company, Starlight Cruises, will launch the newest member of its fleet, the luxury MSC Sinfonia. This will be the largest luxury cruise liner to operate out of South Africa and will set sail on its maiden voyage from Durban to the islands and coasts around the Indian Ocean including Madagascar and Mozambique. The Sinfonia boasts 778 cabins, of which 138 have private balconies, and there are also many luxury facilities for passengers to enjoy. This also provides plenty of new cruise jobs in the three restaurants, seven bars, spa, business center, fitness center, 2 pools, internet café, cigar room, disco, golf simulator, teen club, library, mini club, and medical center.

These facilities mean that there will be hundreds of new hospitality jobs, travel jobs and more. You can work on this cruise ship as a chef, steward, deckhand, doctor, children’s activity manager, entertainer, massage therapist, beautician, sports trainer, fitness instructor, housekeeping, hotel management, and much more. Everyone is catered for on the Sinfonia, which means that no matter what skill set you possess, and no matter what industry you are involved in, there could be a job opening for you. To learn about how to apply for cruise ship employment on board luxury cruise liners like this one, you can visit the Cruise Job Finder website today. You can find out how to post your resume, how to send in the best possible application for various travel and cruise jobs, and you can search through a comprehensive database of hundreds of cruise industry jobs that are just waiting for you to apply to.

The introduction of the MSC Sinfonia will also dramatically increase the revenue for the Port of Durban and significantly increase the number of travel jobs and other hospitality jobs in the area. The annual capacity for Durban is expected to increase during the 2010/2010 season by about 70000 passengers, which will open up plenty of additional job opportunities in tourism, such as tour guides, instructors, waitrons, barmen, hotel staff and more. Along with that various suppliers in Durban would also benefit greatly.

Renowned British chef, Marco Pierre White, made famous by his hit show Hell’s Kitchen, will be travelling on board the Ventura Cruise Ship throughout 2009, it has been announced. The Hell’s Kitchen star began his cooking career more than 17 years ago and was the youngest chef to receive 3 Michelin stars, only recently surpassed. His unique style and excellent food have allowed him to work in many of the top restaurants and hotels in Britain, before he opened many of his own restaurants including the White Room on board the Ventura which was launched in 2008. Marco Pierre White has said that he will hold plenty of private cooking courses on board the ship as he wants to pass on his passion for food to others.

This is a first for him, and for P&O Cruises, this is a great opportunity for their passengers. The Ventura is the largest of their current fleet at 113000 Gross Tonnage. The other cruise ships that you can find chef jobs on board with P&O are the Arcadia, Artemis, Aurora, Oceana, and the Oriana. There is a new cruise liner under construction at the moment and due to be launched in 2010. It is called the Azura and will exceed the Ventura at 116000 Gross Tonnage. If you love cooking and want to learn more about working in a cruise liner restaurant or galley, you can find plenty of information on Cruise Job Finder. You can also search for executive chef jobs, sous chef jobs, sommelier chef jobs, chef de partie jobs, baker jobs, and food director jobs in the job center once you become a member. You can also find out how to upload your resume and get the best job application advice for becoming a cruise liner chef.

Various cruise line companies have opened their 2010 – 2011 schedules for bookings with many showing a renewed interest in American ports. Royal Caribbean International is offered plenty of Caribbean round trips and lots of stops in at Florida’s ports. Cunard has shown an interest in Southern Californian Ports with the Queen Victoria sailing to various Los Angeles ports of call in early 2011. It is thought that many of the localized changes in itineraries is to boost pricing and give people an opportunity to travel on a luxury cruise ship without going too far from home with the poor state of the economy at the moment. You can find many cruise ship jobs on these and other cruise liners and travel all over America and the rest of the world while earning money. You can search for your ideal job on the Cruise Job Finder website.

Holland America Cruises are travelling throughout Bermuda, Hawaii, and the Caribbean Islands with stops at New York, Fort Lauderdale, Hamilton, San Diego, Panama, and St George, as well as Vancouver to Hawaii. Mexico is another cruise destination that will be frequented with stops as far as Acapulco. There will also be longer cruises to Australia, New Zealand, and other parts of the South Pacific.

Princess Cruises on the other hand have increased their European itineraries with 2 day cruises, 7 day getaways and longer cruises through Italy, the British Isles, the Mediterranean, Greek Islands, Scandinavia, Russia, the Norwegian Fjords, Egypt and Israel. There are 11 new ports that have been included in Princess Cruises’ 2010 schedule including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lubeck in Germany, Itea in Greece which is the gateway to the historic Delphi archaeological site, Eidford in Norway, Koper in Slovenia, Nice in France, Newcastle in Northern England, Portimao in Portugal, Tangiers in Morocco, Constanta in Romania.

Crystal Cruises, voted the best cruise liner by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler and Travel & Leisure, is offering its famous 15th annual World Cruise set to depart from Miami on the 10th January 2010. This is a 108 day cruise with a distinct Middle Eastern flavor, with ports of call including Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman, South Africa, Egypt, Brazil, Israel, Jordan, Italy, Turkey and many others. There are a total of 37 exciting countries that will be visited.
